The Heiress and the Heist is a three-part docuseries that follows the life of Rose Dugdale, an English heiress who turned revolutionary and joined the Irish Republican Army. She planned and participated in several of the group’s most extreme activities, including bombings and a multi-million dollar art robbery. Said titular heist included 19 works by old masters, including Vermeer, Goya, Rubens, and Gainsborough, valued at 90 million dollars in today’s currency.
