The crime drama Sons of Anarchy may have ended, but it still has a strong following, and its successful spin-off, Mayans M.C. just kicked off its fourth season. The Sons of Anarchy follows the close-knit Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original (SAMCRO), an outlaw motorcycle club and gun-runners in the fictional town of Charming, California. The story focuses mainly on Jackson “Jax” Teller (Charlie Hunnam), who struggles to live up to his father’s legacy, the founder of the club. The club faces challenges from rival gangs, politicians, corporate developers, and the authorities, as well as struggles within their group, including Jax’s clashes with his stepfather, Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman). Based loosely on the real-life Hells Angels, the club and storylines lean heavily on themes of love, brotherhood, loyalty, and redemption.
