
With the 2020 PGA tour restarted, we wanted to put together a guide to watching the remainder of the 2020 PGA Tour. Looking at the schedule below, you will need a streaming service that carries Golf Channel and your local CBS network for most events. However, you will need ESPN and CBS if you want to watch all of the PGA Championship on August 6th-9th. To watch the Tour Championship on September 3-7, you will need NBC and Golf Channel.
Before we list the PGA tour schedule, lets briefly look at the TV streaming services that carry CBS, NBC, ESPN, and Golf Channel.

Where To Watch The PGA Tour
The following streaming services carry channels airing PGA events this season. While Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV carry the 4 channels you need, other services that cover 1 or more of those channels may be useful. If you are only interested in catching an event or two, you may be able to take advantage of a services free trial and watch a PGA Tour even free..

Hulu + Live TV

Hulu is a TV streaming service that provides access to live CBS, NBC, ESPN, and Golf Channel along with over 70 other channels. Your live local NBC network is on Hulu in every TV market except for Glendive MT and Erie PA. Hulu carries CBS in every US market except for Alpena MI, Butte-Bozeman MT, Helana MT, Zanesville OH, Victoria TX, and Casper-Riverton WY. ESPN and Golf Channel are carried nationally.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV is a TV streaming service that provides access to live CBS, NBC, ESPN, and Golf Channel along with over 70 other channels. YouTube TV offers live NBC and CBS everywhere in the US except the Rochester-Mason City-Austin market, which covers parts of Minnesota and Iowa. YouTube TV carries ESPN and Golf Channel nationally.
The service offers a free trial and includes a cloud DVR feature with unlimited storage. You can watch YouTube TV on Roku, Android, iOS (includes AirPlay to Apple TV), and Chromecasts/Chromecast-compatible TVs. Check out our review of YouTube TV for details on this service.
FuboTV

This online streaming service streams live NBC and CBS in most parts of the country and also carries the Golf Channel live. They plan on adding ESPN soon, but as of this article, it is not yet available. The service offers a 1-week free trial and includes a cloud DVR feature with 30 hours of storage to record the event. You can watch FuboTV on any of the following devices:

- Apple TV (4th Gen and later)
- Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick
- Roku
- Chromecast
- Samsung Smart TVs
- Xbox One

Sling TV

Sling TV provides Live ESPN in it’s “Orange package” for $40 per month while Golf Channel is only available if you subscribe to the “Blue Package” for $40 per month and get the $10 (“Sports Add-On). Furthermore, local NBC is available through the “Blue package in the following ten markets: Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Hartford, Conn., Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, and San Diego. Since this is confusing, let’s break down the possibilities.
To Watch NBC Live: Subscribe to Sling TV’s Blue package and Live in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Hartford, Conn., Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, and San Diego
To Watch ESPN on Sling: Subscribe to the Orange Package for $40 per month.
To Watch Golf Channel: Subscribe to the Blue Package for $40 per month and get the $10 per month “Sports Extra Package.” Living in one of the Sling NBC cities will also provide access to live NBC though the Blue package.
Watch ESPN and Golf Channel: Subscribe to Both Blue and Orange for $45 per month and get the $10 Sports Add-on package for a total of $55 per month. Living in one of the Sling NBC cities will also provide access to live NBC though the Blue package.
DIRECTV STREAM Now
DIRECTV STREAM Now offers CBS and NBC in some parts of the country along with ESPN as a part of their “Plus” package for $55 per month. However, Golf channel is only available by subscribing to their “Max” plan at $80 per month. For more information, see our review of DIRECTV STREAM.
Watch PGA Tour Live on NBC Sports Gold
As golf fans know, the televised PGA Tour coverage on CBS and Golf channel start later in the day than the first tee time, which is 7:45 am ET each morning. If you subscribe to the PGA Tour live on the NBC Sports Gold subscription service, you can watch their featured groups’ coverage starting at the first tee time through the NBC Sports App. Once you subscribe, NBC Sports Gold will appear as a channel within the NBC Sports App, which is available on Apple iOS & tvOS, Android, AndroidTV, Amazon Fire TV, Contour, Contour Stream Player, Roku, and Chromecast.
You can sign up for PGA Tour for $9.99 per month or $64.99 for the year.
