Women of the Movement, a new limited-series drama that chronicles the events leading up to his death and the civil rights movement that his mother spurred on in seeking justice, premieres on Thursday, January 6, at 8:00 p.m. ET, on ABC. Mamie Till Mobley, Emmett’s mother, devoted her life to seeking justice for her son, spurring on the nation’s civil rights movement.
