Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Celebration of the Life of Loretta Lynn, an all-star tribute to the legendary performer, will air live on October 30, at 7:00 p.m. ET on CMT. The country music channel has partnered with Sandbox Productions to produce this live event at the Grand Old Opry. The public memorial for country music legend Loretta Lynn will air live and commercial-free on Sunday, with additional commercial-free encores on Wednesday, November 2 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 6 at 11 a.m.
“Today Show” co-host and family friend Jenna Bush Hager will host the public memorial celebration, which will include live performances, presentations, and collaborations with artists and friends including Brandi Carlile, Crystal Gayle, Darius Rucker, Emmy Russell & Lukas Nelson, George Strait, The Highwomen with Brittney Spencer, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Margo Price, Tanya Tucker and Wynonna, Barbara Mandrell, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, Gaither Vocal Band, Hoda Kotb, Kacey Musgraves, Marty Stuart, Miranda Lambert, Reba, Sissy Spacek, and family members Patsy Lynn + Tayla Lynn. The special will also be made available on Paramount+ in early 2023.

Sling TV
CMT is not in Sling’s base packages. However, you can get CMT through the Orange or the Blue package by adding the “Comedy Extra” add-on package for an additional $6 per month on top of $40 for one of Sling’s base packages.
Sling TV provides a live stream of CMT so you can watch what would be airing on CMT, just as if you had cable. A Cloud DVR program is included.
Sling TV is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and more, so it’s not a problem to enjoy it on a TV, tablet, computer, or other smart devices. Vidgo
Vidgo is a newer Streaming service that offers fairly competitive pricing over other Live streaming services. They provide a DVR for 90 days with the Vidgo “Plus” plan, but you need to upgrade to the “Ultimate” plan to keep the DVR past 90 days. Their service offers CMT as a part of their 60+ channel Core package. The Core Plan costs $69.99 per month.
There is no contract with Vidgo, and you can cancel any time. They do offer a 3-day free trial, which you can cancel within the first three days at no charge. Vidgo is supported on available on Android, iOS, Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV. You can also stream the service on up to 3 devices at the same time. DIRECTV STREAM
CMT is one of the channels available on AT&T’s streaming service DIRECTV STREAM. For a price of $79.99 you will get the following:
