The international financial conspiracy thriller Devils returns for season 2 on Tuesday, August 16, at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW. The Italian import is based on the novel “I Diavoli” by Guido Maria Brera and follows the ongoing psychological competition between Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi) and his mentor Dominic Morgan (Patrick Dempsey). Ruggero has worked his way up to be the head of trading at NYL, a fictional internaitonal investment bank. Morgan is NYL’s CEO, and while he was the long-time mentor to Ruggero, he has now promoted another colleague over his protege. It the wake of the suspicious death of one of his senior rivals, Ruggero finds himself under suspicion, and his quest to prove himself innocent also uncovers a worldwide financial conspiracy within the bank.
