Inspired by the life of pro football player Spencer Paysinger, All American is about a rising high school football player from South L.A. who is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High. However, the show really isn’t about football. Instead, the focus is more on the vast difference between the L.A. neighborhoods of Crenshaw and Beverly Hills. The show airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
