The Real Dirty Dancing is a new competition series in which eight celebrities immerse themselves in the world of one of the most popular movies of all time for an authentic Dirty Dancing experience, premiering Tuesday, February 1, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. The Real Dirty Dancing takes the contestants to the Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia, the actual filming location for the fictional Kellerman’s Lodge in the 1987 film starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze. They partner up to recreate classic scenes from the film, from the rehearsal room and dance hall to the gazebo, final performance, and even the lake lift. This last moment is especially miraculous to recreate, given that the lake has only recently been refilled after mysteriously draining practically dry for over a decade. The Real Dirty Dancing is hosted by Stephen “tWitch” Boss (Clash of the Cover Bands). Read on for more on how to watch The Real Dirty Dancing.

About The Real Dirty Dancing
While several key moments of the film may have been shot off-site, the majority of the lodge shown in Dirty Dancing is indeed Virginia’s Mountain Lake Lodge, and the location has the placards throughout to take die-hard fans on a walking tour. For many years, however, the iconic lake itself has been nonexistent. However, in the last few years, that has changed, bringing it back to more like its cinematic representation. In The Real Dirty Dancing, fans will get to see all the famous landmarks, from the white-walled dance rehearsal room to the grand reception room of the final performance. Eight celebrities — Brie Bella, Corbin Bleu, Tyler Cameron, Cat Cora, Howie Dorough, Antonio Gates, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and Loni Love — immerse themselves in the music of 1963 and learn the iconic dance routines from the movie with the hope of becoming the next Baby and Johnny.
