If the last big fad was true crime podcasts, now it is all about TV adaptations of said true crime podcasts, with a new one hitting this week. The Thing About Pam premieres on Tuesday, March 8, at 10:00 p.m. ET on NBC, and is based on a Dateline NBC podcast. The six-part limited series chronicles the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria, which first pointed at her husband as the killer. However, when his conviction was overturned, a series of convoluted revelations and events soon exposed a complex and twisted plot involving Betsy’s friend and neighbor Pam Hupp. Renée Zellweger stars as Hupp, along with Josh Duhamel, Judy Greer, Katy Mixon, Glenn Fleshler, and Sean Bridgers. Read on to learn how to watch new episodes of The Thing About Pam without cable.
