The reality series behemoth Survivor returns for season 45.
Where you can stream Survivor usually depends on whether you want to watch new episodes or past seasons on demand. When Survivor airs new episodes, episodes from that season air on CBS, which you can watch live and on-demand through Paramount+ and other services covered below. Paramount+ also carries all 44 past seasons.

- TV Network: Survivor airs on CBS
- Best Way to Watch: Paramount+ (Free Trial) provides access to CBS live and on-demand so you can watch new episodes. You can also check out our guide How To Watch CBS.

Best Way to Watch Survivor

New episodes of Survivor air every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Paramount+ is the best way to stream Survivor as the streaming service provides a live feed of your local CBS station and will let you watch new episodes when they air on CBS. Paramount+ will also have the show available the day after it airs live so that you can watch Survivor on-demand if you miss an episode.
Paramount+ offers a 7-day free trial so that you can try the service with no risk. However, there are two plan options to choose from:
Paramount+ Premium: Provides live streaming access to your local CBS station so you can watch Survivor episodes when they air on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. This plan also provides on-demand ad-free access to Paramount+ content, including all 40 seasons of Survivor (Live CBS will still have commercials). After the 7-day free trial, the service price starts at $11.99.
Paramount+ Essential: This plan provides ad-supported on-demand to all 40 seasons of Survivor for $5.99 per month after a 7-day free trial. This plan doesn’t include live CBS, so you will have to wait a day after new episodes of season 19 air to watch.
Paramount+ is available on Roku Players, Apple TV, Xbox, Chromecast, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Fire TV Stick. See our review of Paramount+ for more information on this streaming service.
Watch New Episodes Of Survivor Free
There are two free methods to watch new episodes of Survivor if you don’t have cable. If you live close enough to a CBS broadcast tower, you can use a TV antenna, but this option doesn’t provide a way to watch on-demand. An OTA DVR offers a way to record shows from a TV antenna, but that is an added expense.
Alternatively, you can take advantage of the free trials available with the following streaming services that carry a live stream of CBS:
- Paramount+ (7-day free trial)
- YouTube TV (free trial)
We cover these services in more detail throughout this article.

About Survivor
One of the longest-running reality shows ever, Survivor continues to shake things up. It recently broke with some of its long-running production traditions to ensure both contestants and fans are still having fun with the competition series. The basic structure of the series finds a group of castaways competing against each other in survivalist-style mental and physical challenges for a chance to outlast win a million dollars. This season, the 18 new castaways are abandoned in the islands of Fiji and sent off to find their way through the jungle.
