Live coverage of the 153rd Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York will air on June 5 from 3-5 p.m ET on NBCSN with coverage switching over to NBC at 5 p.m. Post time for the final leg of hose racing’s triple crown is set for 6:49 p.m. ET. Unfortunately, we won’t see a triple crown winner this year with Rombauer winning the Preakness and Medina Spirit possibly being “victorious” at the Kentucky Derby pending a decision on whether Medina Spirit was doping before the race. This article will tell you how to live stream the 153rd running of The Belmont Stakes.
How To Watch The Belmont Stakes without Cable
Coverage of The Belmont is on two channels, NBC and NBCSN. For those without cable, it’s much easier to use the NBC Sports app. However, you will need access to a streaming service that carries those networks to log into the app and get access to watch. Follow the steps below and you should have no problem watching The Belmont along with all the pageantry.
- Use a Free Trial to a Service that carries NBC and NBCSN. Those are:
- FuboTV – offers a 1-week free trial.
- Hulu Live TV – Offers a 1-week free trial
- YouTube TV – offers a 1-week free trial
- Go to the channel store or app store on your device. On Roku, it’s called the “Channel Store.”
- Search for the NBC Sports app
- Add the NBC Sports app to your device and then open it.
- Go to “Browse” on the menu to the left of the screen. Under “All Networks,” navigate to “NBCSN” and press the OK button on your remote.
- Using a computer or mobile web browser, you go to https://www.nbcsports.com/activate.
- You will then be asked for a TV provider and a username/password. If you subscribe to Hulu, select “Hulu,” then enter your login and password for Hulu.
- Once you sign in, your TV screen will refresh after a minute or so. You should now have access to both events
