  • I don't want to have to listed to an hour of chat to learn what's new when I used to be able to read it in a few minutes. Please post the summary news as text like you used to.

    • I was a bit light on the show notes this week due to personal issues. I'll be sure to put better notes together on the next episode. Sorry about that.

  • I'm a 67 year old person. I could use more info such as if I went to Direct Now for 2 tv's would I have to have 2 accounts, 2 fire sticks e.g. and would I need a computer in each room that has a tv or will my router take care of some that?

  • With the new Direct TV Now and my own OTA antenna I think I would like the TIVO Roamio you recommended. Do you think it will become available for streaming on the TIVO?

    • I haven't heard any plans, but they like to keep these things close to the vest.

  • So happy to have found you! I need help and am overwhelmed at how to get what I need and what I want. I have an Apple TV, ATT provider for land line, high speed internet (not really fast), and basic cable. I work from home and need a higher speed than I currently have. I do not watch much TV but when I do I do not want commercials. I subscribe to Netflix and HBO Now. I want USA, PBS anytime, HGTV, Fox, and CBS. How do I do this and is it a possibility? I appreciate any assistance you can provide. I enjoyed the podcast, reminded me of Car Talk. Thanks

    • Getting those channels with DirecTV now is possible, however there isn't a way to really eliminate the commercials.

    • They originally said by the end of this month, but Friday they said they are still working on it and it will be delayed. They currently haven't given a new date.
