FuboTV Review: Live TV Channels, and Features

FuboTV used to be a streaming service that mainly catered to soccer fans. That is no longer the case. Over the years they have quietly built up a stable of TV channels that rivals the likes of Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW. Today, I’m going to break down everything FuboTV has to offer and see if it’s a good fit for you.

What is FuboTV

FuboTV is an over the top (OTT) streaming service that offers live TV channels over the internet. While FuboTV still offers top-tier world soccer programming, they have expanded their channel roster to include major networks like FS1, A&E, USA, NBCSN, and much more.

FuboTV has crafted their service to cater mainly to sports fans but offers other pay-TV staples as well. The service supports most major streaming devices and even includes a cloud DVR with the base package at no additional costs.

I’ll cover the channel offerings, device support and more below. However, you can try the service out with a 1-week free trial. Like most streaming services there is no contract, so you can cancel anytime.

The Future of FuboTV

FuboTV continues to expand its service and improve. The streaming service recently received a $55 million investment. They also recently signed a deal to offer CBS, ShowTime, CBSN, Pop and the CW. The deal includes major market CBS affiliates like  Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Boston. Those channels should be offered soon through the service.

With this service poised to continue growing, it looks like it will add to the competition in the current streaming market, which is good for us cord-cutters. Try their 1-week free trial and see if it’s a good fit for your cord cutting needs.
